    Dear Mr. Clark Humphrey,

Only a minor note, I wouldn’t say that the Hardwick’s were always threatening to close, my brother & I have had many offers over the past 15 years and always turned them down. In the spring of 2018, I was having difficultly in purchasing the business part, Hardwick & Sons, from my brother’s widow. I with the TV news spot generated by a customer, not me, to Dori Monson then KIRO TV picked it up. With the difficulty of purchasing the business side it was looking like I would have to sell all the assets close up shop and split the proceeds with her, then sell the land (separate LLC) and see if down the line thst we, i.e. my son & I, could find another location, because he wants to take on the tool business. He wants to settle in N.Idaho, I have inlaws there whereas all my relatives, 5 generations, are buried in Washelle. I’ve known Spokane-Coeur d’Alene for 35 years since I was married there in a Traditional Latin Mass Catholic church seems only logical to look there. So we have found bare land, 1.6 acres near Mullan & Hiway 41 in Post Falls and will starting up again, with myself slowly drifting into the background helping him when I’m able.
    Sincerely,
    In the Two Hearts
    Dean J. Hardwick
