OUR SECOND-FAVORITE ex-MTV VJ (after Kevin Seal, natch) claims the recently assassinated Dutch politician you've read about wasn't really as right-wing as international media accounts allege. (Other Dutch commentators and analysts, as you might expect, disagree with the ex-VJ's assessment re: the politician; and insist the politician was almost as reactionary as the US newspapers would have you believe.)

ON THE 'GENDER' SIDE of our forthcoming "More Sex, Less Gender" print-mag theme, an artist of undisclosed gender discusses the issues relating to distorted Barbies.

BRIEF QUERY: If I said I was never a metalhead, especially not as a teenager, would you believe me?

WE STILL NEED story ideas for the forthcoming "More Sex, Less Gender" issue of the print MISC. Discuss great (or at least entertainingly absurd) sex scenes in books, movies, or your real life (pseudonymously if you prefer). Repeat a (successful) pickup line you've given or received. Share your idea of a really sexy sound, vision, food, or place. If you're involved in a relationship or lifestyle some might consider "unusual," we'd love to hear about that too. Send in your ideas today. (Remember, we prefer short and lively texts around here.)
